Career Experience

My experience with tutoring kids began in college when I started working at a math and reading learning center. I worked here for about 3 years. I tutored kids aged 3-17 in math and reading. The math ranged from elementary math to high school math like up to Algebra 2. Since math has always been my strong subject, I was always able to understand the material fast and help the kids understand the work. I also kept the students' records, graded their work, and tested them on the material they have been working on. While working here, I also helped my cousins who are in college with math whenever they needed help. I was able to help in subjects like algebra and statistics.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love working with kids. At my previous tutoring job, I was always around kids, and it was such a happy and calm atmosphere. I also like tutoring because I like helping kids understand the material they are confused on. It can get frustrating trying to understand new material, and that's why kids should rely on their tutors to help them.

this tutor helped me but she took a while to respond and I also prefer tutors who use their mic so that it's easier and faster. This tutor only used the whiteboard and the chat.

The Tutor i got was asked me to explain, therefore helping me actually learn what i was doing, she was very kind and asked if i needed any more help when we were done with my initial request. She was also respectful, which is a good quality for any teacher, and that helped make this session a pleasant session to be in.
